I miss those moments (poem)

I miss those moments
when in the hustle bustle
of the gusty winds of life,
your kindness compensated
for all of what was not right

I am not saying that without you around
the heartaches are either derelict
or profound
I am profusely happy, if I can say so
but not in a way it was before

I do not want to make it sound
as if I am weak or decapacitated
I am still in a dialogue with self
and in no way disseminated
by my emotions
but then I am weaker though
when I see your face
on one of the phone’s albums
of people I am fond of
or the most sweetest of the person
I have ever admired

these words, these thoughts or surmises
you can chose your perceptions,
if you read these words
If I ever think of the most delicate memories
that uplifted my being
you were part of it
or perhaps you curated them for me
and you are aware

I have smiled with you, laughed with you
ran with you, had the most exquisite
or the most obnoxious food
but you did not mind
and that’s what makes me miss
those moments more

Moments are like your personal museum
they are priceless
and the ticket to those moments
is permanently locked
in our hearts and mind
