Freaking miss you (poem)
I am not courting you
neither I am complimenting you
on the red polo shirts you wear
in your perfumed evening walks
But when I set my feet
on the road you tread
and when I do not see your
energy floating around,
I end up feeling different from inside
I can’t say at that moment
if I am happy, insane or sad
I am just devoid of something
that would make me look forward
to your aroma
If this is a neo-classical definition of
missing you,
I freaking miss you
in all the ambers or shades of the overarching sky
when the circuit of life is unchained
all I can fathom is just being with you
I don’t want to raise the labyrinthine business of love
to its’ limit
this is not the bruised and bashed idea of romance
it is about no visible or intentional objective
it is about two people
and one of them is you
I freaking miss you
as I love the solace of having you around
the philosophy behind this may sound shallow and decadent
and I loathe it if the smells of impatience or frustration
are manifest in my grammatically challenged prognosis
All I know when the lines are blurred
but the heart is clear
that I freaking miss you!
