I have curated this page to give information to people who are looking for enrolling for either free or low priced courses. When I am writing this, the world is practicing social distancing to avoid the spread of COVID-19 disease. The best way to get engaged is to pick up a new course and learn something while you have some time in your hand. I will be updating this list frequently

Following are the links of some of the institutions that offer online/distance learning courses and programs;

  1. Coursera: Coursera provides courses from various top ranked universities for free. For certificate, one needs to pay a little money. Through the financial aid option one can request the complete tuition Waiver.
  2. edX: Like Coursera, edX also offers various courses, ranging from Individual courses to MicroMasters degee programs. Auditing a course is free but to get a certificate, you have to pay a fee
  3. International Institute of Positive Psychology (IIPP): IIPP provides distance learning/online courses and programs on Positive Psychology and Coaching. Positive Psychology is defined as study of well-being and flourishing. This science gives practical solutions to enhance well-being in our lives.
  4. Khan Academy: Khan academy provides free online courses on school and college level subjects
  5. Saylor Academy: Saylor academy provides free courses on many subjects. They also have options for granting college credits for a small fee.
  6. Future Learn: Futurelearn, like Coursera and edX offers short term courses with certificates signed by the professors of leading Universities.
  7. InterContinental Open University for Global Change (IOUGC): IOUGC offers various low-tuition and free programs ranging from Bachelor-level and Masters-level credentials
  8. Flourishing Happiness Centre: If you wish to get certified as a Life Coach or a Positive Psychology coach, this institution offers distance learning courses that certify you as a coach
  9. Philanthropy University: This online school offers online programs in collaboration with Berkeley-Haas. The courses focus primarily on the nonprofit sector
  10. Alison: Alison offers many certificate and diploma courses for free, with a fee for taking the certification.

There are many more institutions that offer such kind of courses. A little bit of searches on the web would get you more results.
